SHOWTIME THEATRE PRODUCTIONS is an EIS qualifying company that will produce content for the burgeoning theatre sector. The business of the Company will be to invest in theatre productions where at least 50% of the investment is provided by co- financiers. Showtime Theatre Productions will work closely with partners, including the Ambassador Theatre Group and Universal Music, to co-invest into a number of productions, which are booked to run in The West End and subsequently to tour nationally. The Showtime Theatre Productions EIS provides a diversified range of theatre productions providing full theatre tax credits and full EIS relief to investors.
The first two selected productions are:
- Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 The Musical, starring Louise Redknapp and Brian Conley
- The Who’s Tommy the Musical
